Delete your Brainlocity account
How to delete your account and what happens to your data.
This page explains how to delete an account for Brainlocity, the English-learning app developed by Brainlocity, and which data is deleted.
From the app
- Open Brainlocity and sign in.
- Go to Perfil (Profile).
- Tap Eliminar mi cuenta (Delete my account) and confirm with Eliminar permanentemente (Delete permanently). Deletion is immediate.

If you can't access the app or this site, write to [email protected] from the email linked to your account, with the subject "Delete my account". We delete it within 7 business days and confirm by email.
What gets deleted
When you delete your account, we delete your user and the data linked to it:
- Your profile and credentials: email, username, first name, last name, date of birth, and password or Google or Apple link.
- Your progress in the levels, Speed Lab, and the course, your streak, your preferences, and the technical data from your voice exercises.
- The subscription data we store, your sessions in the app and on the web, your devices registered for notifications, and your error logs.
What may be retained
When you delete your account, we immediately erase your data from our active systems. After that, only the following may be kept:
- Backups: our daily database backups may contain your data for up to 15 days. After that period they disappear automatically, and in the meantime they aren't used to provide the service.
- Pseudonymous analytics: usage events without your name or email, kept for up to 14 months. If you ask us at [email protected], we delete them sooner.
- Aggregate statistics: general usage and performance figures that contain no identifiers and can't be linked to you.
- Third-party purchase records: Apple (App Store), Google (Google Play), and Hotmart keep records of your transactions under their own policies and legal obligations.
Your voice recordings and the text of what you said are never stored, so there's nothing to keep. More details in the Privacy policy.
Your subscription isn't canceled automatically
Deleting your account doesn't cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel it from your device before deleting your account. How to cancel.
