Pronunciation exercises use speech recognition: the app needs the microphone to hear what you say and evaluate it. It only records while you're answering a voice exercise.
The audio is sent encrypted to our own server, transcribed there, and deleted as soon as it's evaluated. We don't use third-party speech recognition services, and we don't keep the audio or the text of what you said.
If you denied the permission
- iPhone: Settings → Brainlocity → turn on Microphone.
- Android: Settings → Apps → Brainlocity → Permissions → Microphone → Allow.
Then go back to the app and try the exercise again.
